What If You're Richer Than You Think?
The 5 Types of Wealth

In my journey of running my own business and becoming a more intentional version of myself, I’ve learned that the most successful, grounded people are the ones who’ve built wealth in every area, not just money.
This week, we're exploring each type of wealth and why they deserve equal attention in your pursuit of a rich life.
Time Wealth: Your Most Precious Asset
Unlike money, time cannot be earned back once spent, making it your most valuable resource.
I completely understand we have meetings and calls booked in that we need to attend to, I was in tech sales for 12 years. However, you can be pushed around, or you can take control. The way I like to look at it is, you should be in control of your life, not someone else.
How to build time wealth:
20 minutes in the morning enjoying your coffee without checking emails
15 minute walk after lunch to get fresh air, a break from the screens and get away from your desk
Spending dinner time with the family with no device in sight, being truly present as yes those emails can wait
Your time is your life. Guard it like it’s gold.
My last personal opinion/point, if people say I’m lazy or unmotivated because I guard my time, when I could/should be working, I’m choosing time wealth over financial wealth. Yes we can always earn more money by working hard and longer hours, but I’m not prepared to make that trade off, I can still live a fantastic, aligned life, being a good human being and earning ‘good’ money, whatever that figure might be.

Social Wealth
Having meaningful, supportive relationships and a strong sense of belonging.
Humans are wired for connection. Yet so many of us settle for shallow interactions or relationships rooted in performance or convenience. True social wealth is about surrounding yourself with people who uplift, challenge, and truly see you.
Wealthy people in this area:
Have strong boundaries and deeper connections
Don’t people please, they align with their values
Invest in a few deep relationships, rather than spreading thin
How to build social wealth:
Reach out first and nurture meaningful conversations
Let go of relationships that drain or disconnect you from yourself
Be real. Vulnerability builds connection
Relationships are mirrors so make sure the ones around you reflect the life you want to build.

Mental Wealth
Feeling emotionally grounded, mentally clear, and confident in your mindset.
Mental wealth is trusting yourself, being kind to yourself, and navigating life’s ups and downs without being pulled under.
Wealthy people in this area:
Know how to regulate their emotions
Have strong self-awareness and belief
Practice gratitude, self-compassion, and a growth mindset
How to build mental wealth:
Journal, meditate, or engage in mindset practices
Catch negative self-talk and reframe it with intention
Build habits that help you stay grounded during chaos
There has been a lot said about mental health over the past few years, I’ll admit we’ve got to a point where some people use it as an excuse to get out of things or make excuses, but that’s like with anything in life.
When I talk about mental health, I mean being confident in myself, knowing my true value and disregarding external opinions (as they’ll always be there) to be me and allocate time for well-being.
A final note, the world is so digital and online now, that our brains haven’t naturally adapted to always being on, that’s why I embed digital detox habits and other various habits to simply adapt with the changed world we live in.

Physical Wealth
Feeling energized, strong, and at home in your body.
Your body is your vehicle through life. Without your health, everything else becomes harder. Physical wealth isn’t about aesthetics, it’s about vitality, strength, and how you feel day to day.
Wealthy people in this area:
Move their bodies daily (even if just a walk)
Fuel themselves with nourishing food
Prioritize sleep, recovery, and self-care
How to build physical wealth:
Create a consistent movement routine you enjoy
Keep your nutrition simple and supportive
Respect your body’s signals instead of ignoring them
Energy is the currency that allows you to show up fully in your life. Without energy you really can’t thrive, I mean you can get by, but who wants to do that? We want to embrace life and get the most out of it, the only way we can do that is by having a healthy, energetic body!

Financial Wealth
Having the resources to live freely, support others, and invest in your values.
This is probably the hardest wealth to get right, because of something we call lifestyle inflation. We get a promotion and earn more money, OK great, I can get a bigger house or a nicer car and the cycle keeps repeating. Wouldn’t it be nice to not always be in that cycle? Maybe giving yourself some room by not always chasing the next best and biggest thing, that’s what keeps so many people trapped and needing that monthly paycheck.
Wealthy people in this area:
Are intentional with spending and saving
Align their finances with their goals and values
Focus on sustainability, not just short-term wins
How to build financial wealth:
Track your money and understand your numbers
Invest in your education, business, or assets that grow
Avoid the trap of chasing more for the sake of more
Money is not the goal, freedom is the goal.
So to finish with a question to ask yourself, and really think about this.
How much is enough? Like how much do you really need to be happy, I think it’s probably less than you think.
